About us
Mab Design & Woodworks is the independent woodworking studio of Mike Abbate. What began with custom van interiors in a garage has grown into a practice focused on cabinetry, architectural millwork and one-of-a-kind pieces.
Mike’s background in hospitality and music shapes his approach—considering how people work, gather and use a space. The studio creates custom woodwork for homes, bars, restaurants and creative spaces, balancing function, proportion and character.
As an owner-operated studio, every client works directly with Mike from the first conversation through design, fabrication and installation. Each project receives a personal approach and careful craftsmanship at each stage of the process.
